We all have been hearing about the millionaires and billionaires that have taken the average person in this country for a ride. If you build a business and work sixteen hours a day, seven days a week, until your finally successful you somehow took that from someone else. Our own illustrious leader said “if you have a business you didn’t build that”. Our culture is so backwards now that hard work is seen as a slam against someone who doesn’t see a need to work. I have spent a lot of time, this election cycle, on line trying to see what makes liberals think like they do and for the life of me I can not.

I spent the better part of an hour in a heated discussion where I was called a racist because I didn’t want poor people to take my tax money. I was called a moron because if I didn’t believe in socialism I couldn’t use our roads or call the police. Another so called progressive said that if it wasn’t for socialism I would never get Social Security. I have all but given up with trying to reason with these so called “do gooders”, they really should be called “do nothings”. At what point in this country did we go from, “do your best, work hard, give 110% and you will succeed” to “just show up, do what everyone else does, blend into mediocrity and we all get the same”. I’m curious as to who sets up the rules for who can be rich and who needs to pay their fair share.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith net worth $240 million, why is it nobody thinks they somehow did some shady deal or cheated on their taxes so they didn’t have to pay their fair share?   Bruce Springsteen has an estimated net worth of $300 million, in 2014, but claims to be an organic farmer so he can pay $4,600 on his 200 acres. Do you hear anything about him cheating the poor? In the news today George Clooney is raising money for Hillary Clinton’s campaign. George Clooney’s net worth is estimated at $180 million according to Celebrity Net Worth. Do you think Hillary or anyone else will point out that he is part of the evil 1% that is raping this country? Why is it that a person who makes millions of dollars running a company that employ’s thousands of people is seen as evil, but a celebrity that keeps all their money for themselves is seen as a pillar of virtue? I don’t know whether the ideals of this country have actually changed, or that the media is only covering the people with a hate filled agenda.

  1. Love it! The idea of earning things has diminished In this country. Especially among my fellow young people.

Come check out my new blog, it’s all about being socially liberal and fiscally conservative at the same time. Especially when you are surrounded by Bernie fans .
